We are building a project management system to extend wordpress. At this stage there are no plans to release this as a plugin to the public, but reserved for our clients.
This system will include the following features.
- Public Message Board – A Place For general messages related to the project at hand.
- Private Messages – Will not be accessible by anyone other than the persons involved
- Support Tickets – Will enable a dedicated section of the website to serve for support services not only during the working cycle of design and development, but after the fact as well.
- User Levels And Capabilities – This will enable us to moderate who can or cannot do certain things within the system. For example, for a project to be marked as complete, support ticket as fixed or feedback to be left these actions must be performed by the client.

Espite having a well defined scope and an elaborate plan, projects do suffer from dud outcomes, once in a while. A well envisaged project management system is a robust management approach that helps in streamlining and collaborating teams and aligning their objectives with the most imperative needs of the business. It’s a process to manage projects most efficiently from the conceptualization to completion. A project is handled with intent to produce high.
That is exactly why the system we are putting together is not a quick or easy project. It will be quite complex and may be incorporated into an in house iPad app.
